Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Finance Manager located in Bujumbura. The Finance Manager will oversee financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Responsibilities include preparing and monitoring budgets, managing financial records, ensuring compliance with local and international financial regulations, and providing financial insights to support organizational decision-making. They will also lead the finance team, optimize internal financial processes, and collaborate with other departments for resource allocation and planning.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Financial Management, Budgeting, and Forecasting
- Expertise in Financial Analysis, Reporting, and Compliance
- Proficiency in using Financial Software and MS Excel
- Leadership and Team Management skills
- Effective Communication, Analytical Thinking, and Decision-Making skills
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
- Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA, ACCA) is an advantage
- Experience working in non-profit, international, or religious organizations is a plus
- Knowledge of local financial regulations and tax laws in Burundi
- Fluency in English, French, and local languages is preferred
