Job Description

• Assist in the development and implementation of the IT risk management framework, including risk identification, assessment, mitigation, and monitoring.
• Conduct regular risk assessments of IT systems, applications, and data to identify vulnerabilities and potential threats.
• Develop and implement controls to mitigate identified risks, such as access controls, data security controls, and disaster recovery plans.
• Stay up-to-date on relevant IT security regulations and standards such as PCI-DSS
• Conduct compliance audits and assessments to ensure adherence to regulations and company policies.
• Investigate security incidents and breaches to determine the root cause, scope, and impact, and recommend corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver IT security and compliance training for employees.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date IT risk and compliance documentation.
• Manage and prioritize projects related to IT risk and compliance.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to ensure awareness and understanding of IT risks and compliance requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

For the above position, the successful applicant should have the following:

• University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field.
• Professional qualification Cybersecurity, IT Risks.
• (ACAMS)or an equivalent is an added advantage. 
• Master’s degree in Information Technology or any other related field is an added advantage. 
• Minimum of 3 (three) years’ overall experience in the following: Applications /Networks / Database Administration, Endpoint Security Management, Business Continuity Management 

• Excellent analytical and forecasting skills; must also have strong attention to detail.
• Effective business writing and professional communication skills.
• Strong leadership skills with demonstrated competencies in championing high performance.
