Position Details:

Contract: Permanent.

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a similar area.

Location: Bujumbura.

Monthly Net Salary: BIF 750,000.

Education & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Economics.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to cultivate effective working relationships.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Excellent multitasking abilities.
  • Capacity to work independently and thrive under pressure.

Responsibilities

As a Logistics Assistant, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Timely preparation and shipment of samples to clients as per schedule.
  • Maintaining an updated file of all samples sent.
  • Daily checking and reporting of new contracts in the system to the supervisor.
  • Assisting in the preparation of export documents.
  • Providing support for logistics and administrative activities.
  • Generating follow-up reports on export documents.
  • Recording shipment transactions in the Sucafina Online system (SOL).
  • Compiling and submitting weekly reports on ongoing activities.
  • Offering advice and support to fellow staff members in meeting deadlines and tasks.
  • Continuously seeking opportunities for improved efficiency and accuracy in your work.
  • Taking ownership of assigned duties and promptly informing the supervisor of potential delays or commitments.
  • Performing any other tasks assigned by the manager.
