ICAP at Columbia University, a global health leader situated within the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health in New York City, seeks highly qualified candidates to serve as Monitoring and Evaluation Officer in Burundi. Working under the direction of the Regional Team Lead and M&E Advisor, M&E Officer will support the development of the ICAP reporting system, support routine reporting (including at the site level), and lead and manage all reporting requirements to the ICAP central office. S/he will use innovative M&E tools, manage ICAP Burundi databases for districts and sites in Gitega province and coordinate ICAP Burundi’s overall M&E activities for Gitega province. S/he is responsible for overseeing data collection, training, and data management at the supported sites. This will involve working with the site-level staff to increase data quality through improving the completeness and quality of paper-based and electronic data and the quality of the patient records systems.

ICAP seeks highly qualified and experienced candidates to fill the Monitoring and Evaluation Officer position by April 2023. The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information management, socio-medical sciences or a related discipline; additional experience with medical or public health records is preferable.
