Key Responsibilities

• • Support the Operational Risk Manager in ensuring the all pertinent operational risk management policies and procedures, are effectively implemented, disseminated, and complied with in all respective departments and across the bank as may be appropriate.
• • Conduct review assessments on operational risks and tools (RCSAs, Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), KCSA LDM and Incident Reporting.
• • Collect, reconcile and report loss data in accordance to the Loss Data Management (LDM) policy and procedure.
• • Conduct risk control self-assessments (RCSA), collate results and report to Operational Risk Manager.
• • Manage the day-to-day risk management process by engaging business units to identify, assess, manage, monitor and report risks on a continuous basis.
• • Assist the Operational Risk Manager to carry out risk profile mapping for new processes & procedures in compliance with the bank policies & regulatory policies.
• • Review and recommend input to operational risk reports prepared for management. 
• • Track and report exceptions to policies and SOPs. 

Job Requirements

• • Business related bachelor's degree is a requirement
• • Desirable but not essential professional qualification 
• • Master's degree is an added advantage
• • Total professional experience of 5 years minimum in Banking sector.  
• • Excellent planning, organization and Business report writing skills;
• • Excellent ability to anticipate issues and to design appropriate solutions;
• • Demonstrates knowledge of the fundamentals of the unit, processes, policies and procedures; 
• • Requires regular coaching, supervision, and guidance to complete tasks to required standards.
