RECRUITMENT OF THE PROGRAMME DEVELOPMENT OFFICER, BURUNDI

Tearfund in Burundi is looking for a highly competent and experienced Programme Development Officer to  support the country Lead to produce high quality proposals to access donors (predominantly Institutional funding donors), and donor funding for selected partners, and to provide accountability to those donors while ensuring compliance to donor and Tearfund rules and conditions.

This role is responsible for coordinating all donor proposals and reporting, and donor project knowledge management systems within the programme.

Excellent written and spoken skills in the English language are indispensable to this role and an advanced knowledge of French is essential. A University degree in a relevant sector of humanitarian/development work and proven experience in Project Management ( including needs Assessment, Proposal writing , project monitoring and Evaluation and strategic planning) are prerequisite with a proven experience of 3 years in Proposals writing.
