The Position
Reporting to the Sahl Banking Business Manager, the job holder is responsible to develop and maintain Sahl Business Account Relationships in order to increase Quality Deposits and Loan Portfolio in accordance with Shariah principles.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruitment of new Sahl Banking customers (Personal/SME)
- Recruitment of sahl Banking loans in order to increase Sahl Banking loan portfolio
- Process Sahl Banking facilities (Personal/SME) applications within stipulate TAT
- Monitoring Sahl Banking loans in order to ensure minimum portfolio at risk.
- Consistency in adherence to and application of established policies, processes, and tools to achieve optimal efficiency, compliance and cost containment.
- Minimization of exposures to and impact of risks associated with KYC, AML and portfolio maintenance.
- Quality of management of customer expectations.
- Responsible for delivering a service to customers that matches the Bank’s mission statement.
- Resolve Sahl Banking customers’ inquiries in order to improve customer satisfaction
- Prepare Periodic Reports on Sahl banking loan Performance
- Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by your line manager.
The Person
The successful candidates should have the following requirements:
- A university degree preferably in a business-related field.
- University degree in banking, accounting, or Islamic Banking
- Professional qualification in Banking, Accounting/ Finance or Islamic Banking will be added as an advantage
- Two (2) years of experience with similar responsibilities: in Sales Management (Personal Banking, Business Banking /Retail Banking) or Customer Service /Relationship Managements and 1 year (one ) experience in Credit
- Practical experience in use of Microsoft Office Packages
- Strong customer focus, the ability to analyze and solve problems, think creatively and innovate.
- Excellent planning, organization and Business report writing skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet short deadlines.
