VACANCY – Treasury & Collection Manager
A. Key Responsibilities
1. Managing a portfolio of accounts
Formulates sales strategy & implementation for all post-paid products
Implements VAS which enhance usage and customer retention (qualitative and quantitative)
Generates sales forecasts, and sector plans for the whole country.
Monitors local and regional competitor activities and advise the business with a view to be number 1 and sustain that position.
2. Responding to tender documents, writing proposals, reports and supporting
literature
Introduces new complimentary products lines which drive sales and be responsible for their sales eg: handsets & accessories.
Liaises with Marketing on trade exhibitions to participate in, which give the business mileage
Initiates incentives/promotions in liaison with head of enterprise business.
Keeps the budget under control and keep the sales levels as high as possible.
3. Preparing and delivering customer presentations and demonstrations as need be
Monitor the economic, political, social and legal environment and implications to the business and recommend appropriate action for the business.
Motivates the sales representatives/foot soldiers as the case may be to achieve the desired sales targets.
Deals with all the negotiations between the company and the new clients in any way needed.
Follows up with individual corporate clients to make sure the sale is made and best services are delivered.
4. Marketing and promoting a portfolio of products by writing and designing sales
literature and through attending industry events; and Networking with existing
customers in order to maintain links and promote additional products and upgrades
Operate as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to your customers
Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key customer stakeholders and executive sponsors during events
Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
Identify and grow opportunities within regions and collaborate with sales teams to ensure growth attainment
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
Forecast and track key account metrics
5. Providing support to customers, often on a helpline, offering clear advice and
solutions wherever possible
Train staff and for trade channel partners on new products and sales management.
Acquires and maintains customers for the business, ensures that their queries are resolved well and in time.
The corporate manager motivates each sales representative to strive for these goals, and also solves any queries that the sales team may have while in the field.
B. Education
Degree in a Business related field;
Post graduate certification in Sales & Marketing will be an added advantage;
C. Experience
At Least 5 years hands on experience in Sales Distribution management within an FMCG or service sector of which 2 years must have been in a sales managerial position, preferably in a fast moving consumer goods company or Telecommunications Company;
Highly results and performance oriented;
Excellent team player with good Leadership/mentoring/management skills;
Excellent Negotiation/Influencing and Presentation skills;

Must have a robust and direct management style and a natural leader
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Must be a team builder, team leader and team player, a logical and pragmatic problem solver with excellent negotiation skills.
