ADVERT OF RECRUITMENT FOR VARIOUS POSITIONS

Tearfund in Burundi is looking for highly competent and experienced applicants to fill the following positions to support the quality delivery of the Tearfund Burundi country program of the country office and projects implementation:

1. Finance Officer: The Candidate has to have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Business related field with at least 3 years’ experience in Accounting/Treasury management position within an International Non-Governmental Organisation. He has also to demonstrate an experience with donor Budgets and Reporting.

2. Administrative & HR Officer: The candidate has to have a Degree in Business Administration, HR or related field with an experience of 2 years in a similar position within an INGO. The candidate has also to demonstrate his experience in dealing with Administrative and HR processes.

3. Programme Development Officer: Excellent written and spoken skills in the English language are indispensable to this role and an advanced knowledge of French is essential. A University degree in a relevant sector of humanitarian/development work and proven experience in Project Management (including needs Assessment, Proposal writing, project monitoring and Evaluation and strategic planning) are prerequisite with a proven experience of 3 years in Proposals writing for Institutional donors.

4. Resilience & Livelihoods Officer: The candidate must have a University degree in Development studies, Business studies, Economics, Rural development or related field with an extensive experience in managing and implementing livelihoods/ economic recovery projects.
