Recruitment: Videographer & Editor, Burundi

IMPACT is seeking a consultant or company to provide videography and editing services for the Peace and Security in the Great Lakes Region project, implemented in partnership with the International Conference on the Great Lakes Region (IGCLR).

About the ICGLR

The ICGLR was created in response to the recognition that political instability and conflicts in Central Africa have a considerable regional dimension and require a concerted effort to promote sustainable peace and development. With 12 Member States, it isthe only platform regionally that has a strong political mandate, continued support, and technical expertise to work on illicit trade of the minerals sector. About the Peace and Security in the Great Lakes Region Project

The Peace and Security in the Great Lakes Region project aims to improve mineral governance in the region while advancing security, stability, and development. The project builds the capacity of the International Conference on the Great Lakes Region (ICGLR) and its Member States to address illegal mineral flows and harness their potential as drivers for economic and social development, as well as stability and security. 3. Objective and Scope of Work

IMPACT is seeking to hire a company to film and edit three (3) videos, each three minutes in length maximum. The videos will be distributed and shown across social media channels of IMPACT and the ICGLR.

The objective of the videos is to highlight the work of the ICGLR’s Technical Unit on Natural Resources, its results and success, by profiling different members of the team. 3 members of the ICGLR team will be interviewed and edited into 3 videos.

The video should be produced in the original language of the interviewee, with subtitles in the second language (English/French).


4. Deliverables

3 bilingual videos, maximum 3 minutes in length – 1080p resolution, Mov or Mp4 files


5. Timeline

Filming in October to be arranged in coordination with the ICGLR.

Final files need to be delivered by November 1, 2025.


6. Proposal Submission:

The consultant or company must have experience in filming and editing various types of footage and producing high-quality finished videos. Experience interviewing and filming government officials or executives preferred. Experience working with advocacy or international organization is preferred. Must be able to work in both English and French.
