Introduction
UNDP would like procure services for construction of three MAR pilots in Muyingo Province in Burundi, Kakukuru in Ntungamo District in Uganda, Bwikhonge in Bulambuli district in Uganda in lots as per below:
Lot 1 – Construction of MAR pilot in Kakukuru, Ntungamo District, Uganda
Lot 2 – Construction of MAR pilot in Bwikhonge, Bulambuli District, Uganda
Lot 3 – Construction of MAR pilot in Muyinga Province, Burundi
A pre-bid conference will be conducted on 5th June 2025, via zoom at 12pm. Confirm your attendance by writing to ug.procurement@undp.org.
A group site inspection will be held as follows: Time and time zone: 12PM EAT Date : 10 June 2025 Location : Lot 2- Bwikhonge, Bulambuli District
Time and time zone: 12PM EAT Date : 11 June 2025 Location : Lot 1- Kakukuru, Ntungamo District
Time and time zone: 12PM EAT Date : 12 June 2025 Location : Lot 3 - Muyinga Province, Burundi
Please attach signed certificate of site inspection.
Bidders shall notify the focal point(ug.procurement@undp.org) 3 of days in advance as to whether or not they intend to participate in the site inspection and the details of their representatives who will attend via the above email. All interested bidders should show interest 3 days before site inspection to ug.procurement@undp.org.
Bid Security will be required and mandatory in the amount of 24,000,000 UGX an equivalent of 6,554 USD for Lot 2 only for Construction of MAR pilot in Bwikhonge, Bulambuli District, Uganda as stipulated in the template. Bid security should be submitted 3 days before deadline of close of tender to UNDP Uganda Yusuf Lule Plot 11.
Please submit your bid on your letterhead that should be signed and stamped on the Quantum supplier portal, not later than indicated date in Quantum, addressed to UNDP Uganda stating clearly whether the prices are inclusive or exclusive of VAT and any other taxes that may be applicable. Your letterhead should clearly show your tax identification number, TIN.
Please indicate whether you intend to submit a bid by creating a draft response without submitting directly in the system. This will enable the system to send notifications in case of amendments of the tender requirements.
